Dr. Roddy Suos (PSY26209) has been in the helping professions since 2005. Currently, he is the Director of Clinical Training at The Heights: Center for Counseling & Wellness, and staff psychologist at Hope Integrative Psychiatry. He is affiliated with St. Mary's Medical Center, where he treats individuals with chronic and terminal illnesses, physical disabilities, chronic pain, and addictions.
Dr. Suos has received training and worked at a number of facilities: Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, community mental health clinics throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, and both public and non-public schools.
Dr. Suos is trained in EMDR and Sensorimotor psychotherapy, both effective in the treatment of trauma.
In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Suos is a Speech-Language Pathologist. He has rehabilitated individuals of all ages with speech, language, and cognitive impairments.
In his spare time, Dr. Suos enjoys biking and kayaking.
