Kaela Pangburn, MA, AMFTKaela uses a trauma-informed and relational approach to therapy. Currently pursing certification in Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Kaela focuses on the impact of early childhood experiences and trauma.
Kaela values the importance of healthy attachment and believes in building a strong relationship to help individuals create change. Her experiences working with adolescents in foster care lends an expertise in understanding the impact of systemic oppression and adverse childhood experiences. Additionally, she has various clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. She is passionate about working with client’s of all ages and holds a special place in her heart for clients who have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and traveling whenever possible. She is an artist who spends most of her free time painting. Kaela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marymount California University, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. |
