Heidi Roselle, MA
On Psychotherapy...Heidi Roselle is a psychotherapist*, registered school counselor, wellness coach to pregnant moms and new parents, and career-coaching enthusiast. She draws on her diverse background in clinical counseling, women and gender studies, perinatal mental health, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma-informed therapy to restore clients' sense of peace and well-being.
Heidi understands and appreciates the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit, thus the importance of helping clients nurture all aspects of themselves to achieve vibrancy and health. She understands deeply how emotional blocks can adversely affect one's physical and spiritual well-being, and how pain strongly and negatively impacts mental and emotional health. Using tools from EMDR. Heidi reprocesses clients' traumatic experiences that |
wreak havoc and block psychoemotional healing. Heidi sees her clients as "whole persons" with tremendous strengths. This strengths-based paradigm, in conjunction with EMDR, comes together to produce a powerful and potent healing method that frees clients from the grips of trauma, anxieties, and barriers to healing.
Heidi brings immense empathy, compassion and understanding to her work. She is particularly passionate about helping women skillfully navigate pregnancy and the transition to parenthood. She is highly effective at running group therapies, career coaching, and mindfulness-based therapies.
Heidi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Rutgers University, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Montclair State University in New Jersey.

On human capacity for change and healing...
"It takes a lot of courage to confront the blocks that are holding you back from living the life you desire. It can be painful. It can be scary. It can be hard as hell. But it can be done. As your therapist, it is my greatest privilege to serve as a trusted companion on your journey. I have sat in the clients’ chair myself and I have seen, first-hand, the mind and body’s awesome ability to heal itself. You’ve got this. You are not alone, and you ARE worth it.”
